The ruling Party CCM's Ideology and Publicity Secretary Comrade Shaka Hamdu Shaka, has called on Government and Party Leaders to play a major role in assisting CCM's Chairperson and President of The United Republic of Tanzania Samia Suluhu Hassan as she strives to build a prosperous Country.
Comrade Shaka, made the remarks in Dar es Salaam when officially receiving the office from his predecessor, Comrade Humphrey Polepole, held recently at CCM's Lumumba Sub-head Office, in the City.
``I urge all leaders in the government and the party to understand that they have a big responsibility to support the President and our party Chairperson. Tanzanians are our main stakeholders, regardless of their party, religion or ethnicity. "
He thanked President Samia for appointing and trusting him for the key position.
Comrade Shaka also thanked Conrade Polepole for taking his time to hand over the office to him and promised to continue working with him.
